The Gotive's rugged communicator H41is designed for use in any application where mobile users need to collect and manage information at the point of activity: remote logistics, transportation, field services,
utilities, retail on the move, public safety, forestry, military,

Ease of Use in Harsh Conditions

Gotive H41 has been developed for users for whom finger
rather than stylus operation is more appropriate
for a mobile device. Finger operable QWERTY
touch screen keyboard and programmable ActionKeys
deliver true "anywhere" usability. Gotive H41 is sealed
for protection against windblown rain and dust and is able
to withstand multiple drops on a hard surface.

Wireless Communication Capabilities

Gotive H41 can be equipped with a variety of communication
options for voice communication, SMS and real--time secure data transmission - GSM/GPRS, WLAN, Bluetooth, IrDA. A custom
designed application converts Gotive H41 into a convenient
voice phone with SMS features.

Mobile Internet without Restrictions

Gotive H41 offers internet connectivity enabling efficient
access to web-based applications or corporate intranet data
from anywhere GSM/GPRS, WLAN or Bluetooth coverage is available.

Investment Protection

Applications can be installed or removed, configurations
changed, and the operating system upgraded, all through
remote management tools. Gotive H41 is built
upon industry standards such as Microsoft Windows®CE.NET,
TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, GSM/GPRS and GPS. This open architecture
protects Client's investments and provides a migration path
to new technologies.

Windows®CE.NET Operating System

The compatibility of our products
with the Microsoft Windows®CE.NET operating system
allows them to run thousands of applications.
Gotive H41 provides the standard PIM software
(Pocket Word, Inbox, Pocket Internet Explorer,...) as well
as ActiveSync for synchronization with desktop PC's.
Standard 32-bit application development tools
from Microsoft and third parties provide flexibility
and easy integration for customized solutions.

Multitude Data Capture Options

Variety of data capture possibilities can be
embedded in Gotive H41 - Bar Code Reader, RFID

mobile workforce to capture data using the
technology most fitting for the demanded solution.

Position and Location Based Services

Global Positioning System (GPS) localises
& tracks vehicles, provides emergency assistance,
navigates the drivers, localises points of activity,
helps to secure online proof of delivery (POD), and
enables the exploitation of emerging Location
Based Services.

Optional Functionality Extensions

Wireless LAN (802.11b), Bluetooth
communication or any technology available
on CF Card can be implemented.

Abundance of Memory Capacity

SDRAM, Flash ROM and MMC memories
offer enough space for all significant professional
business applications and for the Windows®CE.NET
operating system. MMC provides protection against
data loss. Further memory expansion is possible via
CF Card.
