One of truly new product launches
at CeBIT 2002

Bratislava (March 24, 2002) Gotive a.s.

The first two Gotive products from the brand new class of Wireless Enterprise Communicators (WECs) – H41 and Q31 - were introduced at the CeBIT 2002 trade fair held on March 13 – 20, 2002 in Hannover, Germany.

The uniqueness of the concept of integrating handheld computer, GPS, GSM/GPRS and Bar Code Reader in one embedded ruggedised mobile device, and the distinctive design of the products as well as the company stand (Hall 9, Stand A46) attracted a lot of visitors despite the peripheral location of the stand.

Gotive’s WECs stood out of the line of products and projects presented at CeBIT also for other reasons: they were the first and only products at CeBIT 2002 putting in action the new Windows CE .NET operating system, launched by Microsoft in January 2002. They were also the first devices employing this OS in a handheld device featuring half VGA touchscreen.

Gotive’s approach to the needs of the market is another competitive feature: open system of the products and customisation possibilities make the devices efficient in various vertical markets, for example logistics, field services, utilities, retail on the move, security and many others.

Viliam Sameliak, GM of the company said: “We would like to thank all our existing and prospective business partners, as well as all the people just dropping by interested in our products or appreciating our stand, for visiting us at CeBIT and we hope our future
co-operation will be as successful as this show.”
