Gotive a.s. has launched a brand new class of Wireless Enterprise Communicators (WECs) for mobile enterprise solutions - the first
two products of the Gotive's product range were introduced
at CeBIT 2002, Hannover, Germany in March 2002.

Gotive's WECs combine the functions of a Handheld Computer, Mobile Phone, Global Positioning System, Bar Code Reader into one embedded mobile device. The open system of Gotive's WEC enables them to accommodate also Smart Card and Magnetic Strip Reader, Printer, Camera etc. according to the needs of the specific vertical markets. Distinctive design, added ergonomics and ruggedisation complement the Gotive's devices unique concept.

The first two products from the Gotive - H41 and Q31 - are also the first and only devices at CeBIT 2002 trade fair in Hannover putting the new OS form Microsoft - Windows CE .NET in action to deliver smart, connected and secure handheld solutions that can seamlessly integrate into the existing IT infrastructures.

Gotive H41 - is designed for professional outdoor enterprise activities. It replaces the need for independent devices by its combined features of Mobile Phone, PDA, large touchscreen HVGA (640 x 240 pixels), Bar Code Reader and GPS, all built into one unit. This WEC is ideal for organisations working in fields such as remote logistics, transportation, field services, utilities, retail on the move, public safety, forestry, military, … practically in any mobile enterprise solution. Gotive H41 features the Windows CE .NET opereting system.

Gotive Q31 - is designed for the businesses that require the features of Gotive H41 but for whom the a smaller size and keener price are more important. The robust design and combination of functions make it an ideal device for applications where simplicity of use is paramount. Gotive Q31 features a smaller QVGA touchscreen (320 x 240 pixels) and is also built on Windows CE .NET operating system.
