Gotive users can now take the full advantage of the addition of another wireless data communication option to the rugged handheld communicator of Gotive H41 Series –Bluetooth technology via Compact Flash Card from Socket Communications, Inc.

Bluetooth enables Gotive devices to communicate without wires with peripherals, computers and among themselves. Bluetooth data communication embedded option is especially fitting for cost-effective local data exchange solutions - sending data to printers, downloading data, sharing connecting to network via other devices, connecting to ActiveSync, OBEX File Transfer, etc., using the common protocol of the Bluetooth standard.

Thanks to extensive cooperation between Gotive and Socket Communications programmers, Gotive devices are ready to bond and communicate with multitude of devices, especially from the product groups utilised in vertical market solutions: portable and office printers, computers, external scanners, mobile phones, keyboards a.o.

In order to easily integrate this technology into their applications, all partners and solution providers who purchased Gotive H41 Bluetooth-enabled units are provided with Bluetooth SDK.

Further available embedded options for wireless communication and data capture offered for the Gotive H41 Series are GSM/GPRS, WLAN, GPS, and Bar Code Reader. Specialised product ranges based on the H41 Series are the H41 SCR – Smart Card Reader Device, and H41 RS – rugged communicator with serial interface, both of which are also available with the Bluetooth option.
