Gotive, the manufacturer of the rugged mobile communicators for vertical markets introduces two new product lines based on Gotive H41 – Gotive H41 SCR Smart Card Reader Device and Gotive H41 RS Rugged communicator with serial interface.

Gotive H41 SCR with embedded Smart Card Reader (read/write) and a user-accessible Compact Flash slot for the CF Cards Type I finds utilisation on many emerging markets employing smart cards (chip cards) in security applications, identification, authorisation, loyalty programmes, etc.

Gotive H41 RS has been designed to provide direct serial communication between Gotive H41 RS and RS 232/422/485 enabled external devices, enlarging the Gotive application area to further markets requiring direct data transfer via serial port, like for example field services, utilities, car assistance, etc. This functionality is available thanks to the integrated user-accessible rugged circular connector and a RS cable converter with standard 9-pin RS plug.
